Arabian Automobiles is recognized as a ‘Champion Distributor’ and closes the year with sales up 20% in Dubai’s recovering car market

Arabian Automobiles, the exclusive dealer of Nissan, Infiniti and Renault in Dubai and the Northern Emirates is approaching the close of 2010 with sales up 20% year to date. The company also reports that its best selling model is Nissan’s signature SUV in the Middle East region – the all-new Nissan Patrol which was launched in February this year. Arabian Automobiles has had a busy year of new product launches with the recent additions of the 2011 Infiniti QX SUV and Infiniti mid-size M sedans. The Renault brand has also launched the price conscious Logan sedan and Logan small commercial van, the youthful Sandero hatchback, the upgraded Fluence sedan, the beautiful Laguna Coupe and the ultra sporty Clio Renaultsport 200.

Arabian Automobiles has also added another feather to its cap by being recognized as a ‘Nissan Champion Distributor’ by Nissan Motor Company. The company has received the award for the third consecutive year for displaying excellence in performance, processes and management among more than 60 independents Nissan dealers around the world for the year 2010. Michel Ayat, CEO of Arabian Automobiles Company received the award from Atsuo Kosaka, Managing Director, Nissan Middle East FZE in a ceremony held in Dubai recently.

Upon receiving the award, Michel Ayat commented, “We are delighted to receive the Champion Distributor Award for the third consecutive year and thank Nissan Motor Company for this recognition. With this win and those of the preceding years comes a continuous effort from us to improve our operations, and to provide our customers with the best products and services in the market. I also dedicate this award to the workforce at Arabian Automobiles who has diligently worked towards improving all areas of our operations.”

Arabian Automobiles was also recently awarded the World Aftersales Progress Club (WAPC) 2009 Global Award for the 12th time in the company’s 42 year history. With this year’s win, Arabian Automobiles continues to be recognized for maintaining the highest standing in aftersales performance among all Nissan dealers operating in the GCC.
